I see my self working in a tattoo shop, trying to support my goal of becoming a pro fighter. I think some of the challenges that im going to face will be the poor amount of money I'll be being paid becoming a tattoo artist.
Its really important to be true to yourself and your morals because you don't want to be doing things that make you miserable. Do something you want to will result in your own happiness, if you are doing things that you dont like you wont put a good effort out towards whatever it is you are doing. In my opinion its more important to be happy than financially successful. People are so obsesed with matireal posestions

Escape your Life
I find there are times where I want to get away from my life and would'nt mind running of to a place to escape from my life for a short period of time.
When I get into a fight with family members, thats when I oftin want to get away, nobody likes yelling at the parents or siblings. Sometimes the fights in are house get taken to new levels things are said or done that should'nt have been done. I have a pretty bad temper but I'm usually the first to admit to making a mistake and quick to say I'm sorry. The time between having a fight, and saying your sorrys you always feel the worst, and that you just want to get out, go somewhere to take your mind off what has transpired.
If there is any place I would like to escape from my life it would have to be up at my cottage in Bancroft. I grew up there, I'm a country man throgh and through. I love it up there cause you can just get way from everything and nothing seems to matter, your out in the bush, its hard working days, and long nights staying up around the camp fire. When I'm out there I feel like I'm in my element, your out on the hottest days working all day long and I would want it no other way.
I dont need a big city full of people, flashy lights, and busy streets. The out doors is where its at for me, I find it keeps me humble, and makes me an honest person. There isnt a better feeling in the world than working a long hard day, jumping into the car, and taking a spin up to the beach for a quick dip.
If theres ever a place I could escape to no matter what the problem is, Bancroft is my number one pick, hands down.

Being a Phony
According to Holden if you use words like "grand" or "marvaless" you are for sure a phony in his eyes.
Holden is very judgemental, and he is not afraid to make fun, or mock you if he believes that you are fake. Though he is quick to pass is opinion on you if your being a phony, you often don't see him analyize his own behaviour. If Holden thinks your being fake in someway he will be the first to start to mock you, he loves to tell lies, and make things up just so he can get a rise out of you. For example when Holden is on the train with Ernie's mother and they got to talking and she was worrired that Ernie wasnt fitting in at school, and Holden starts telling all these lies about her son telling her that her son was doing good, and was a really nice guy, but in reality he is the kid who likes to whip you with a towel after a shower, that nobody really likes.
In my opinion Holden is more of a phony than anyone else. He constantly talks about how he dislikes Stradlater and Jane, because he dosent want Jane to just get used because he has some feelings for her whiether he admits it or not. But the way I look at it is he was to afraid to tell Jane how he feels about her so he becomes resentful of Stradlater, he may be a player but atleast he is man enough to get with women he likes. I cant stand Holden, and I'm so happy that Stradlater punched him in the head, cause thats exactly what I would have done, Holden like to be-little people and make them feel like they are below him, and he is in someway supior, and if he ever did it to me I would have popped him one right in the face.
I believe people who are quick to pass judgement on people, often have problems with there own insecurities, and i find that Holden is indeed a phony.

Is Life A Game???
In my opinion I beleive in certain aspects and situations life can be veiwed as a game.
All games have rules set in place to have everything run as smoothly as possible, much like the laws placed in society. How you abide those rules and laws determines how succesful, you can follow the rules, work hard, and become a valued memeber of society. On the other hand you can bend or break rules, like Holden smoking in his dorm, or flunking vertuly every class, and ultimatly being kicked out of school several times. You can either become a corprate, law abiding, hard working citizen, or you can become a burden of the back of society.
Being a law biding citizen, you work hard, have a nice house, raise a family, get that raise you always wanted and live a happy normal life. But the world is about balance, light and dark, good and bad, so for every hard working person there is bound to be an opposite. People who like to get thrills out of life, cause trouble, intoduce a little choas in society, and live without rules and boundaries.
In my opinion there nothing wronge with a little anarchy, if life a game, not everybody tends to play fair. I think there is to many laws and rules in todays society, say some one is running there mouth and you punch them in the head, then you can be charged with assult, and get thrown in jail. Look back to when you were a little boy, having sword fights with you best friend from down the road, primative instink is bred into are dna telling use to fight , we are all animals, and when people are pushed up agaisnt a wall, and had to defend for there own, there no end to how far people will go to defend what they hold dear. Thats why i find life, like most games have way to many rules, and those rules are to give people a false sense of security.
Whatever your choice may be will ulitmatly result is how and what you affect in the game by making those choices.

What Does It Mean To Be A Good Person??
In my opinion what it means to be a 'good person' truly depends on what your idea of 'good' is.
The word 'good' can be defined as adj. (better, best), having the right or proper qualities. You can do a good deed, you could be a good friend, you could make a good banana bread, but that doesnt make you a good person. If being a good person is measured by being better or best, it would question ones characteristics, you can be better in one aspect but nope so much in another. Being good would also have to have a negative side to it, an opposite
I guess when it comes done to it to be a good person would just have to be some one that does something for the greater good of thing, does not cause harm to others, but treats others as one wishes to be treated but besides that there truly is no way of knowing what it means to be a good person.
